Yesterday’s AMTA meeting left me feeling deeply inspired. 💆🏽‍♀️🧠 The conversations, the shared passion, and the commitment to our profession reminded me just how meaningful this work truly is.
Massage therapy isn’t just about easing tension, it’s a bridge to mental wellness, a moment of stillness in a chaotic world, and a tool for nervous system regulation.
So many of us are living in a constant state of dissociation. Disconnected from our bodies just to survive the day. That’s why the mind-body connection is everything. It’s what brings us back home to ourselves. And in this work, we have the honor of guiding others back to that place of presence, safety, and awareness.
Huge thank you to Katy from @thewakefulstate and Renee from @reconnectdfw for your time and wisdom in educating us. Your insights were powerful and deeply appreciated. 💚
